Terms of Use and Sale

These Terms of Use and Sale (hereinafter the “Terms”) govern the use of the website sorciereblancheeditions.com (hereinafter the “Site”) as well as orders placed via the Site or our partners, operated by Les Éditions de la Sorcière Blanche, an associative bilingual publishing house (French / English) dedicated to fantasy, the fantastic and esotericism.

By accessing the Site or placing an order, you unreservedly accept these Terms.

1. Purpose

The Terms define the rights and obligations of the parties in connection with the use of the Site and the purchase of physical products (books, booklets, agendas, almanacs, calendars, goodies) and digital products (ebooks, PDFs). They apply to any order placed via the Site or via our partners (Amazon, Lulu, Gumroad, etc.).

2. Products and services

Les Éditions de la Sorcière Blanche offer in particular:

• Physical products: books, agendas, calendars, goodies, etc. printed on demand via partners (Gelato, Printful, Amazon KDP, IngramSpark, etc.).
• Digital products: ebooks and PDFs, delivered by download link sent by email.
• Services: associative support (e.g. via Ko-fi or PayPal), newsletters, content and events related to the publishing house.

Descriptions, prices and availability appear on the Site. Prices are shown in euros (€), including tax where applicable, excluding shipping costs where relevant.

3. Orders

To place an order:

• Select your products and add them to the cart;
• Review your order;
• Provide shipping and payment information;
• Confirm the order.

A confirmation email is sent after validation. We reserve the right to refuse an order in the event of non-compliance with the Terms, inaccurate information or availability issues.

4. Payment

Payments are secured via third-party providers (PayPal, Ko-fi, and where applicable other partner platforms). Accepted methods depend on the platform: bank cards, PayPal, and other methods offered at checkout.

Payment is due at the time of order. Invoices are sent by email when available.

5. Shipping

Shipping and return terms are detailed in our Shipping & Returns Policy.

Physical products are generally shipped within a few business days after printing (timeframes vary by destination and options, including dedication). Digital products are delivered by email after payment confirmation.

6. Right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-18 of the French Consumer Code, you have a period of 14 days from receipt of a physical product to exercise your right of withdrawal, without giving a reason.

Digital products are in principle non-refundable after download, in accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, where performance has begun with your agreement and waiver of that right.

6.1. How to proceed

To exercise your right of withdrawal, contact us at contact@sorciereblancheeditions.com stating your order number. Physical products must be returned in their original condition, unused, within the legal timeframes.

6.2. Refund

Refunds are processed within 14 days of receipt of a compliant return. Return shipping costs remain your responsibility, except in the event of an error or defective product on our part.

7. Warranties

Physical products benefit from the legal warranty of conformity and the warranty against hidden defects. In the event of a defective product, contact us for a replacement or refund as appropriate.

8. Promotional offers and referral

White Witch Publishing offers regular promotional offers (promo codes, seasonal offers) as well as a referral system to thank and reward its community.

8.1. Promo codes

• Promo codes offer a variable discount between 5% and 25% depending on current offers.
• They apply to the entire catalogue (excluding shipping costs), unless otherwise stated.
• Each promo code can be used once per order.
• Promo codes cannot be combined with each other.

8.2. Referral

• Each member has a unique referral code (PARRAINAGE-XXXX).
• The referred customer benefits from a fixed 10% discount on their order by using the referral code.
• The referral code applies to the entire catalogue (excluding shipping costs).
• A member cannot use their own referral code.

8.3. Combining offers

• A promo code and a referral code can be combined up to a maximum of 25% total discount.
• If the combination exceeds 25%, the discount is automatically capped at 25%.
• This cap helps support sustainable creation and printing of books.

8.4. Allocation of the MERCI-PARRAIN code

• After the first validated order of a referred customer using a referral code, the referrer receives a MERCI-PARRAIN code (10% discount).
• This code is sent by email to the address associated with the referrer's account.

9. Donations and memberships

White Witch Publishing is a non-profit publishing house. Donations and memberships help support our authors, our publications and our projects.

9.1. Monthly memberships

• Memberships are monthly and automatically renewed until cancelled by the member.
• Payment is collected each month on the membership anniversary date.
• You may cancel your membership at any time from your Ko-fi account.

9.2. Refund

• Payments already made are non-refundable, except in case of error on our part or exceptional circumstances.

9.3. Delivery of physical benefits

• For tiers including a signed book (Archivist, Sage): shipping is processed within 7 to 14 working days after membership confirmation.
• Shipping costs are included for metropolitan France. For other countries, we will contact you for any additional fees.

9.4. Digital benefits

• Exclusive content (newsletter, early access, excerpts, illustrations, etc.) is sent by email or made available via private links.
• They are strictly for personal use and may not be shared or redistributed.

9.5. Intellectual property

• All content shared as part of memberships remains the property of White Witch Publishing and its authors.
• Any reproduction, redistribution or commercial use is prohibited without express permission.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Site (texts, images, logos, design, etc.) is protected. Any unauthorised reproduction is prohibited.

11. Personal data

Collected data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the GDPR.

12. Liability

Les Éditions de la Sorcière Blanche cannot be held liable for indirect damages, or for service interruptions linked to force majeure or third-party providers. Product descriptions are provided in good faith and may show slight variations (print-on-demand, etc.).

13. Disputes

In the event of a dispute, contact us first at contact@sorciereblancheeditions.com. These Terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable agreement, the competent French courts shall have jurisdiction.
